PRE-PREMIER FESTIVAL

We will be holding our closed Pre-Premier Festival in January. If you have a child that is not currently competing, this is a great place to start. The adjudicator provides written comments back to all dancers, a wonderful opportunity to receive feedback for the dancers.

Marvelous March Workshop

Our Marvelous March Workshop will be held on March 14th, 2010. AVAILABLE FREE TO ALL EHDA MEMBERS, this alone is worth the price of your membership. We offer two accomplished and respected judges who spend the day working with our dancers. This is always a wonderful workshop, open to all levels, including Primary dancers. If you don't use your membership for anything else all year, this workshop is a must for dancers.

Northern Canadian Championships

In April, we are hosting our Northern Canadian Championships on Saturday, April 10th. We will be offering a complete Highland Experience package with entries, admissions, programs, Saturday evening Ceilidh (hosted by Edmonton & District pipe band with Celtic Fusion Illusion) and a Sunday matinee performance by the Simon Fraser University Pipe Band, reigning World Champions, performing at the Winspear Centre. We will also have a hotel rate available for out of town members and competitors.

ScotDance Championship Series 2012

And, for the future, the ScotDance Championship Series 2012 will be held in Edmonton. This amazing event will bring dancers from all over the world. To be held at the Ice Palace at West Edmonton Mall, this week long event features the Canadian Interprovincial Championship, Highland, National, Jig and Hornpipe competitions as well as Choreography competition during the opening ceremonies. This incredible event offers classes from Primary to Premier, all age categories. An event in your home town, an event of this magnitude, an event you won't want to miss. An event you will want to be a part of!
